Our philosophy is to combine the concepts of traditional Pilates (breath, alignment, long muscles, strong core, fluid transitions) with an additional layer of intensity and creativity that makes each session unique, fun and challenging. The result is to effectively work and tone the entire body, improve posture and breathing, while also inspiring a love of movement in students of all ages and levels.
yourInstructorEleni Chlouverakis
Eleni has been helping people get stronger, feel better and move better for over 20 years.
She has trained with many great Pilates teachers in the US, including Madeline Black, Ellie Herman, Rebekah Rotstein and Elizabeth Gillies. She is certified to teach Pilates through Stott Pilates, Balanced Body, and the Physicalmind Institute, from where she is also a licensed Pilates Teacher Trainer.
Her primary yoga certification is through YogaWorks, and she has attended a number of supplemental Teacher Training workshops in Primary and Secondary Series Ashtanga Yoga (with Manju Jois, Kristina Karitinou Ireland and Jean Claude Garnier).
Her holistic approach to wellness is reflected in the fact that she holds additional qualifications in Health Coaching through the American Council on Exercise (ACE), Face Yoga with Danielle Collins, and Meditation through the Veda Center. This integrative perspective comes through in all interactions with her students.
